ENROLLMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

Welcome to Step 2 of the enrollment process! This questionnaire will help you determine if Connor Kids Academy is a good fit. Parent and son must complete this together.

Only parents or legal guardians may enroll boys in Connor Kids Academy.

Connor Kids Academy is NOT a sports team, after-school program, or “traditional” summer camp.

It is a unique program that lasts for 3 full years, from the summer before 5th grade to the spring of 7th grade.

Each year includes a summer, fall, and spring event.

1. Summer event: a 3-day camp, about 8 hours a day (not overnight). Held at the university.
2. Fall event: 3 hours on a weekend. Held at the university.
3. Spring event: 3 hours on a weekend. Held at a different location in the area.

Our expectations do not line up, so Connor Kids Academy is not a good match. We appreciate your interest and wish you and your son all the best!

Connor Kids Academy does not offer transportation. Parents are responsible for getting their son to each event.

Participants use the Connor Kids Academy app every week during their 3 years in the program. It is a key part of the impact.

Your son needs to have access to a phone or tablet. Boys who don’t have their own device must be able to use someone else’s device every week.

New activities are posted each day, and they take 5-10 minutes to complete.

It seems like our expectations might not line up. Participants need to use the app at least 3 days per week to get the full benefits of the program. We track usage closely and keep parents in the loop.

Please take a moment to talk about the app requirement. Keep in mind, Connor Kids Academy is not a good fit for everyone. It’s much better to determine that now rather than later.

2. Consistent event attendance: Your son must attend each event, a total of 9 events over 3 years.
3. Long-term commitment: When your son takes a spot in CKA, it’s his for the next 3 years and can’t be given to anyone else.
